Amecom was an electronics division of Litton Industries located in College Park, Maryland. The building was originally design for assembly of advanced electronic components. The design was specifically calibrated for integrated testing and manufacturing procedure, and to minimize material handling time during the process. A large open assembly area is flanked by a large clean room, modular office spaces and specialized storage and testing areas.

The building is now the University of Maryland Center for Advanced Study of Language.
